time for a site update... I cleaned up the art page and got my Dartmouth photo archive all organized. Read the !!updates.txt file for file descriptions. I also made a directory of my art from Drawing 1 class. There's actually a lot more, but some of it I don't like. We've been working on the figure for over a week now but my digital camera is broken so I can't take pictures of any of the drawings. Definitely check out what's there, though.
My life here is busy, as always. Today I had a midterm followed by a recognition meeting for a new club founded by two of the guys quoted in this NYTimes article. They're -incredibly- intelligent and fascinating to talk to. The club is the Dartmouth Independent Forum, an organization for "dialoge, not diatribe." We plan to bring some excellent speakers to campus, such as Howard Zinn. It's exciting. After that meeting I went to a government discussion x-hour and then sped home for a few minutes before going to dinner and then to Amnesty International's Banned Books Week poetry/literature reading. After 2 hours of Ginsburg and monks and political prisoners, I'm now home and doing this web work instead of my globalization homework. I think I'll go do that now.
