About Curiosita.org
My site, in some form or another, has been around since 1998. It's just a personal site,
a place to get creative, display my art/writing, and meet people.
I started with Geocities, moved on to Tripod, and finally made my home at
Rupture. Rupture rocks, bigtime.
I design all my own layouts by hand, usually with Notepad and/or HTML-Kit. All the images are created/taken by me as well and edited in Photoshop. I just use HTML and CSS as of now, but I'm learning some php. The current layout is just simple tables and css. That's me in the picture, taken summer 2002. Summer soliloquies was just fitting with the nature of this site {soliloquy: form of discourse in which a character reveals her thoughts without addressing a listener}. The text you see faded into the background is just something I wrote for myself one day. It says: No more complaining - just do what must be done. Until you can actually do what needs to be done, there's no need to speak constantly of it, lacing out tiny filaments of sorrow and pain into others. They can't help you. You don't have to bear it stoically. You don't have to bottle up your pain inside. But you do have to deal with it yourself. This is not a burden for others to bear. Take it and turn it into something constructive. It feels like there is no time, does it not? There is all the time in the world. If it is to be, it will be. You know this, somewhere. Bring it out and be strong. There is a romance in burning up with the fire. This is unnecessary. It has not come to burning, yet. Wait. Be patient. It will come to you. |
